Abstract

This article reviews The Life and Ideas of James Hillman, Volume I of the official biography of James Hillman by Dick Russell. This text is worth reading and is of historic importance. It concerns Hillman's ancestry and growth and development during his early years. With Jung's support, Hillman was the first Director of Studies at the Jung Institute.
