Abstract

In etiology of suicide attempts in the department of internal medicine we can mainly observe suicide attempts by ingesting drugs such as sedatives, psychopharmacological substances, antidepressants, very often in combination with alcohol. Other drugs (such as kardiology drugs, antidiabetics - sulfonylurea derivatives, insulin) are used/ingested rarely. We are presenting a suicide attempt by ingesting hormonal drugs - a combination of desmopressin, thyroxine, hydrocortisone and testosterone.
