Abstract

As children we did not fully grasp the meaning of responsibility, which meant that adults usually accepted the responsibility for our actions. Adolescence is a period when we begin to understand the importance of responsibility. We become more responsible as we take on new responsibilities, which also determine who we are as persons or what we want to become. Unfortunately, this is also a period when suicide often occurs. This article attempts to develop an understanding of suicide through the concept of the meaningfulness of life.
