Abstract

A State has not only a positive obligation, when the law authorizes assisted suicide, to ensure that lethal drugs are not freely accessible but the State should also regulate the possibility or the prohibition to practice assisted suicide in other cases than those listed in the guidelines of the Academy of Medical Sciences, which is the sole authority mentioned by law. © 2013 Elsevier Masson SAS.
