Abstract

Hanging is one of the most common methods of committing suicide all over the world. It is a painless method of committing suicide and it is usually fatal. But if the person is brought down within a very short period of suspension and treated in hospital immediately, there is a chance of survival. In this case report, we report a case of an young adult who attempted to commit suicide by hanging and it is reported here because of rarity of such cases. © 2012 JPAFMAT. All rights reserved.
