Abstract

What would happen in France if school was starting to play a third party role ? It would contribute to overcoming separations particularly when they are traumatic, as in the case of A., whose father committed suicide and whose mother cannot cease to protect him. Allowing this child to get back to his father's job since the latter died on his workplace, E. school articulates the meaning of school activities with the subject's social future and with the elaboration of his line. Elaboration stages follow, paving the way for the growing subject inside the oedipal castration. © ERES.
