Abstract

This study aims at knowing the youth conceptions of the health attending a French college (from 11 years old to 15). The restraint method is the one of the interview. This is about the capacity first to assume one's activities on an optimal way, then to have healthy habits of life but also, the mental health that characterize the conception. Above all, they value the absence of pollution, the importance of the natural elements of the landscape as well as the practice of a physical activity as indispensable parameters for a good health. The mother represents the main adviser in health and the television, one of sources of media information. The teenagers little approached the problems of health omnipresent in the adolescence: road traumatism, suicide, sexually transmitted diseases.
