Abstract

Having examined what Islam and the Holy Prophet peace be upon him have taught the Muslims (see The Real Terrorist: Islam?) it became apparent that handful of Muslims today interpret scriptures and acts and words of the Holy Prophet PBUH in a manner befitting their ideologies and what they wished to achieve using Him PBUH (see The Real Terrorist: Muslim?). This final trilogy examining the how the West have tried to create an atmosphere of fear to deter Muslims of speaking out against oppression and repression created by the West. The paper will look at how the West has attempted to show that Islam is a backward religion and how they champion the rights of the entire world by pressing for democracies in nations that do not allow freedom of expression. This paper will examine the actions of the West and determine why their actions have led to the handful of Muslims to become wayward. The reader will learn and understand that terrorism is a last resort for many victims' families to obtain a form of justice against the West. The paper will address questions regarding the link between terrorism and the West. The paper is not only to bring new knowledge to the field and teach the academics but also learn that it is a tool used by some Muslims to make a political point in the hope of changing Western political ideologies of the Middle East. The paper will look at the West and their history involving Muslims in the past 200 years and how, through their propaganda, practices, proxy wars, corrupted leaders, bias laws, double standards and now fear and torture has created an unsustainable era that the West has produced in their attempt to control a religion that does not yield to men and in their attempt to please and influence nations of natural resources at the cost of civil liberties. © Common Ground, Cameron Iqbal.
