Abstract

There is great confusion as regards the therm "end of life" of patients. The subject is continuosly under debate, with the arguments often being obstructed by how various interlocutors interpret some concepts. For this reason the Medical Colleges Organisation has prepared a short document in which it clarifies the significance of these words that allude to situations associated with the end of life. © 2009 Sociedad Española del Dolor.
