Abstract

Flowering Stimulant has gained a considerable importance in the field of horticultural and agricultural practices. It enhances the colour, appearance, and size of a flower. A case of suicidal poisoning by flowering stimulant containing nitrobenzene is presented. Nitrobenzene poisoning is almost accidental and the use of flowering stimulant for suicidal purpose is very unusual. Because of its rarity and novelty, the case is reported with a view to know the nature and management of nitrobenzene poisoning.
