Abstract

Two Web page evaluation tools, SPAT and DISCERN, were used to evaluate the quality of Reach Out!, a Web site that seeks to improve the mental health and well-being of young people ages 16-25. The utility of the two Web page evaluation tools is discussed along with the evaluation methods used to assess the quality of the Web site. Included in the review is a brief overview of the Reach Out! Web site, its purpose, features, and usefulness for providing mental health information.
