Abstract

Usually depressive disorders show a high suicide risk. The assessment of suicidality is part of each standard diagnostic procedure in depression. It is necessary to know high risk groups and high risk psychopathology. Four important aspects of suicide prevention are discussed: therapeutic relationship, diagnostic, management and therapy.
