Abstract

In a sample of 594 serial killers in the United States from 1950 to 2002, the number of victims was associated with being male and with being stationary or nomadic in style. Suicide as an outcome was associated only with having criminal enterprise as the motive. Copyright 2008 American Journal of Forensic Psychiatry.
