Abstract

In developed countries, work is held more and more responsible tor the growth in psychopathological disorders. An increase in stress-related illnesses can indeed be widely observed and the first cases of suicide appeared in the workplace roughly ten years ago. This article outlines the main links between the pressures caused by new forms of work organisation on one side and pathological decompensations on the other.
