Abstract

Five cases of Homicide-Suicide were studied. The aim of this study was to identify the type of perpetrator and victim, relationship between perpetrator and victim, method of homicide-suicide and factors responsible for committing homicide-suicide. The assailants and victims were family members. The major factors responsible for homicide-suicide episodes was domestic quarrel (3 cases), infidelity (1 case), and predominantly financial stress (1 case).
