Abstract

We have presented a case report on ammonium dichromate poisoning to highlight the awareness of medical professionals about the toxicity of chromates and to minimize the fatalities. Its diagnosis depends mainly on history, clinical examination and post mortem findings. Chemical analysis is usually not helpful in this case, as it is a highly dissociable compound. In this case report, we discussed the clinical presentation and the standard management of such cases.
