Abstract

The author develops his understanding of adolescent suicide and attempts a therapeutic approach to his theory. Attention is drawn on the traumatic dimension of the suicidal crisis that is the main focus of the outset of specialized treatment in medical unities. A long term psychotherapy should then allow developmental impasses to be worked through as well as the underlying narcissic fragility that is a part of the suicidal crisis.
