Abstract

The aim of this article is to point out the interest of the existence of a projection wall in care unit welcoming suicide adolescents. Indeed, such "tag wall" makes it possible for those young to restart the system to think thoughts (in reference to Bion's theory). A psychical work of reintegration of components of the psyche, of attitude, starts with the writing, in a narcissistic axis. However, in a most object axis, the adolescent projects himself onto the others, identify himself with, and differentiate himself from them. The wall therefore pretends to be a surface that symbolically makes part of the real scene and of the psychical one. So the writing endorses a cathartic function and finds its place in the care system, enabling adolescents to think themselves. © 2006 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
