Abstract

There is no legal bar to a manslaughter conviction when one person has culpably caused another to commit suicide. In some cases, though, a charge of manslaughter by gross negligence is a better way in which to secure a conviction than a charge of manslaughter by unlawful and dangerous act. © Sweet & Maxwell.
