Abstract

Psychiatric disorders in people with epilepsy can be classified in three main categories: 1) specific disorders chronologically related to epileptic seizures; 2) interictal disorders including anxiety, depression and psychotic states; 3) psychiatric adverse events during antiepileptic therapy.
