Abstract

A man affected by depression presented limb, trunk and oro-facial dyskinesia. None of his relatives suffered from movement disorder. His mother and her sister had been affected by dementia. DNA analysis confirmed the diagnosis of Huntington Chorea (HC). Any patient with undiagnosed movement disorder needs DNA analysis for HC if one of his/her relatives presents cognitive decline, severe psychiatric disorder or suicidal behavior.
