Abstract

In 2002 a survey with a questionnaire was conducted in Basse-Normandie, in order that work doctors point out suicide attempts they were aware of, during the five past years. The results, most probably reduced because of this data collection, show that 107 suicide attempts ended in 43 deaths and 16 who remained seriously disabled. 68% are men attempts, among them 2/3 are less skilled workers in many professional sectors. Half of them already confided in work doctor.
