Abstract

French pharmacists will be involved in physician assisted suicide or euthanasia to deliver drugs. This situation opens new ethical issues. Through the experience of others countries, USA (Oregon), The Netherlands and Belgium, three ethical rules for pharmacists must be emphasized: information for pharmacists, pharmacists conscience clause and policies and procedures for dispensing medication.
