Abstract

A 63-year-old man with a cutaneous metastasis of renal cell carcinoma is reported. The patient had a small nodule on his nose resembling granuloma teleangiectaticum. Histologically, the tumor cells showed large and clear cytoplasm, and the stroma showed vascular structures. Abdominal CT showed a large mass in the left kidney. From these findings, this nodulewas diagnosed as a cutaneous metastasis of renal cell carcinoma. Although this patient was treated with IFN-α and resection of the skin lesions, he did sudden death. This accident had the possibility of suicide and was able to consider the side effect with IFN-α and his mental damage by multiple skin lesions.
