Abstract

Although there has been much written on hearing voices groups, there is little specifically about such groups in in-patient settings. This article sets out to reflect upon some factors, both theoretical and practical, that have arisen since starting an in-patient hearing voices group. Attachment theory is used as a framework to aid understanding of individuals' relationships with their voices, and the function of the group.
