Abstract

A 22-year-old woman presented to our hospital with loss of consciouness, abnormal ocular movement and tremor of bilateral arms. She took Travelmin™ over 120 tablets for suicide one day ago. A urethral catheter was indwelled for 3 days. Clean intermittent self catheterization (CIC) was begun because of urinary retention after removal of urethral catheter. However, difficulty of urination improved 3 days later. Her symptoms including urinary retention was suspectedly caused by overdose intake of Travelmin™.
