Abstract

A detailed overview of policy and practice in suicide prevention in prisons is given, focusing on England and Wales. The current strategy for suicide awareness is outlined and its implementation discussed. Future developments aimed at reducing suicide are reviewed. © 2000, MCB UP Limited
