Abstract

A few cases of death after Ecstasy consumption occurred in France. Blood levels found were very different: from 50 ng/ml for MDMA to 4,400 ng/ml for amphetamine. Two young men who probably committed suicide had 5,394 and 3,687 ng/ml for MDMA and 23,563 and 13,871 ng/ml for MDEA in blood. Inquiries and autopsy findings are presented.
