Abstract

Altruistic homicide followed or not by a suicide is a rare but tragic event. It is necessary to know and fear this possibility in order to avoid it. But it must be distinguished from other forms of homicide, especially from 'Medea's syndrom' and 'Sardanapale's Syndrom'.
