Abstract

This paper lies in a brief explanation about the psychological autopsy method developed by the author in the investigation of the violent deaths (suicide, homicide and accident), the stadistical procedures that supported this research work, the main results and some others considerations. The validation of the mentioned method was the author's doctoral thesis in Medical Sciences, and has been applied in Cuba and also in Mexico, Chile and Honduras so far.
