Abstract

From a << foot of the bed >> listening of children hospitalized for suicide attempt, and of their families, the author considers their common characteristics (triggering factors, familial, contexts, death ideas, etc.), then she distinguishes (inspiring herself from psychoanalytical data regarding narcissism and depression in children) different contexts in which such acting out takes place (omnipotence/acted struggle against depression/bordeline level/exhaustion reactions/ shame/dramatization/de- linking) before proposing adequate modes of care and secondary prevention.
