Abstract

Assessment of suicide attempters treatment is composed of three modalities: assessment of existing means, different outpatient care modalities and compliance. Considering the existence of several methodological biaises, no study has clearly demonstrated the efficacy of a specific follow-up. Conversely literature is concordant to point the low rate of compliance. If several means can be used to improve this rate, the link between compliance and a better outcome is not demonstrated.
