Abstract

A study is conducted on the high levels of safety achieved in general aviation (GA). The changes taking place in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the efforts to reduce the number of accidents are also discussed. It is found that the reduction in pilot workload reduces the fatal accidents.
