Abstract

The paper reports that the states of Kentucky and North Carolina commissioned a consulting firm to provide assistance in their respective use of computer techniques in accident location methodology. Each state had different requirements to be met and different existing methods for processing accidents, as described. This paper describes the research and development performed cooperatively for the state agency.
