Abstract

The paper indicates that there is a place for the manually drawn road perspective as an aid during the design of roads. A discussion follows of the current drawing technique of calculated perspectives, its simplifications and the calculation aids available. The panoramic drawing technique is explained and it is shown that savings in calculation and drawing time can be achieved, without loss in accuracy.
