Abstract

A research study was carried out to identify the critical special population groups and corresponding critical issues and concerns related to highway safety. For this purpose, two surveys were performed to seek expert opinions. Based on survey results, rankings were established that can be used by decision-makers in transportation safety to decide which issues should be addressed first and in which way.
