Abstract

In order to solve the inhomogeneous loading of the composite support body in stope filled alternately with waste rock and tailings, the typical stope filled alternately with waste rock and tailings was taken as an example, and the inhomogeneous loading characteristics of the composite support were analyzed by finite element numerical simulation. Then the feasible methods and their applicability to coordinate the stress of the stope filled with waste rock and tailings were discussed, and the stress coordination scheme based on roof-contacted filling with flexible material was put forward. Finally, the effectiveness of the stress coordination scheme was verified by elastic mechanics analysis and numerical simulation. The results show that most of the loads are concentrated on the relatively rigid waste rock filling body, and the bearing capacity of tailings filling body is not fully utilized, which is not conducive to the safety and stability of the composite support body. With the stress coordination scheme based on roof-contacted filling with flexible material, roof-contacted filling with small thickness flexible material can effectively improve the inhomogeneous loading of the composite support body and the supporting efficiency of the filling body. © 2019 China Safety Science Journal
