Abstract

This study aimed to standardize and guide the emergency management of large coal mining enterprises. Existing problems and deficiencies were analyzed, and working ideas and practices were explored depending on laws, regulations, and industry benchmarking. The research was based on the actual needs of such enterprises and their surrounding areas for emergency rescue. The results show that emergency management organizations should be set up reasonably, and an emergency work responsibility system needs to be established in large coal mining enterprises. Moreover, a better emergency management mechanism should be constructed and constantly optimized. It is also necessary to improve the emergency management system framework and strengthen supervision and guarantee. Meanwhile, the scientific preparation of emergency plans is highly recommended with an emphasis on cohesion. A stronger emergency resource guarantee is required, involving emergency response teams, materials, equipment, training, and education, so that emergency response capabilities can be enhanced. © 2022 China Safety Science Journal.
