Abstract

In order to study the factors influencing the driving speed selection of hazardous materials transport vehicle drivers, an influence measurement model for the influence factors of driving speed selection was built based on the disaggregate theory. The theory of elasticity was used to analyze the influence degrees of different factors on the driving speed selection of the hazardous materials transport vehicles. The result shows that the age, education level, and corrected vision have no significant effect on the speed selection behavior, that driving age, personality, escort and lane number have a significant effect on the speed selection behavior, that the more active the driver is, the driving speed the greater will be,that the closer the lane is to the central isolation, the faster the speed will be, and that escort will make the driving speed relatively low. © 2019 China Safety Science Journal.
