Abstract

In order to deeply explore the influence of fatigue degree on miners' mind wandering, ten male miners were selected as testees, experiments were carried out on them. In the experiments, the ERP was used, then the signals of brain potentials were collected by using 64 conductor electroencephalograph, and the preprocessing and analysis of the brain potentials data were carried out by using the BESA,and the behavioral indicator and brain potentials indicator before and after fatigue were measured. The results show that mind wandering frequency, average response time, error rate, wave amplitude and latency period of P300 are all influenced significantly by fatigue, that after fatigue, the mind wandering frequency is increased significantly, the average reaction time prolonged, the error rate increased, and the wave amplitude significantly decreased and the latency period prolonged of P300, and that the miners mind wandering can be effectively reduced by decreasing the degree of fatigue. © 2019 China Safety Science Journal.
