Abstract

Our company's business area covers a wide area of ​​Kanto, Koshinetsu, and Tohoku regions, and we manage our railway-centered business by dividing it according to regional characteristics and technical fields. In order to carry out risk assessment practically in a railway operator with such a wide business area, various problems must be overcome. While overcoming these problems, the authors have developed a risk evaluation method that can efficiently classify the risk value into a stepwise level according to the magnitude of the risk and visualize it, regardless of the risk criteria. In addition, this risk assessment method was applied to the risk values ​​of a total of about 9 000 risk scenarios calculated based on the research results of the authors' previous research on risk identification methods and risk analysis methods.
