Abstract

In the execution of A Survey Simulator to Evaluate Safety Systems (ASSESS), it is necessary to set the appearance position, appearance time, and an initial speed, etc. as a parameter based on the data of a real traffic flow and to cause the traffic flow. The fixed point observation of the traffic flow was executed in this research. The parameter was decided based on the result of a measurement. In addition, the traffic flow generation program was constructed. The correspondence of a result of the vehicle generation program and a real traffic flow was verified. The accuracy of the traffic flow was able to be improved by considering the influence of the adjoining signal intersection.
