Abstract

In measurement of driver's ability by simulated driving, there is a demand for the examination executed with simple apparatus because of a difficulty that testing facilities are restricted if a grand-scale driving simulator is required. This study contrasted features of decision performance between a motion-based full-scale driving simulator and a simple apparatus consisting of a television screen and a game controller. And, several features about habituation and structural arrangement of devices etc. were revealed by driving experiment which used a newly developed original exercise.
