Abstract

We have developed new Stability Control system with G-Vectoring concept, which controls yaw moment based on the vehicle skidding information and deceleration based upon the lateral jerk information. This system at reducing under steer by G-Vectoring, and reducing over steer tendency by Direct Yaw moment Control(DYC). We carried out new control system equipped vehicle's test on snowy surface and confirmed that the under steer was reduced dramatically compared with conventional system, because under steer prevention logic of G-Vectoring was activated prior to vehicle skidding.
