Abstract

Stability factor under force control B was defined in a previous study. By changing B, this paper studies loci of two pairs root under force control. As a result, sum of real parts of two pairs root under force control equals to their real part of root under position control. Further each pair of the roots is almost dominated by front or rear cornering stiffness independently under B >2. Moreover, as vehicle speed increases, the damping ratios of the pair of roots decrease under B >2.
