Abstract

Previous studies have suggested that every response parameter has a preferred value. There are complicated relations between response parameters and vehicle specifications. This research offers guidelines for design decisions which lead to preferred response parameters. First, design parameters are uniquely defined for designers. With these design parameters, response parameters are calculated, and sensitivity analysis is adapted for evaluating how design parameters impact response parameters. The impacts of design decisions are evaluated quantitatively. Moreover, sensitivity of sensitivity is defined for evaluating a transient status. It is analyzed in a quasi-steady state.
