Abstract |
The aim of the research is to identify the phenomenon of suicide and its most important types, to identify the most important social factors driving suicide in general, and to seek to uncover the indicators of the increasing phenomenon of suicide. The researcher relied on the descriptive and analytical approach in his study to achieve the desired goals of the study. The research reached a set of results, the most important of which are:1) The weakness of the religious guardian, the distance from the path of God and the neutrality of his straight path, the overriding of material values over the spiritual values of man, the ignorance of suicide bombers with the wisdom of affliction, the loss of patience and willpower of the individual, and the spread of ideas contrary to the teachings of Islam.2) There is a set of social causes that lead to the phenomenon of suicide, which are: the absence of social ties, the change in the climate in which the individual lives and the transition to another new society in which he feels lonely, the spread of drug and alcohol abuse of various kinds and types, the violence that appears in the media, and the availability and ease.
