Abstract

The advances on dynamic buckling of structures are reviewed systematically in this paper. The dynamic buckling problems of plates and stiffened plates subjected to dynamic loading are emphatically described, and the commonly used dynamic buckling criteria are introduced. To impact buckling of structures made of composite materials, it is suggested that more detail study are needed in the field. The dynamic ultimate strength of plate structures under in-plane dynamic loading is very important in engineering practice.
