Abstract

A half-century has passed since construction began for a high-speed testing facility on Hurricane Mesa, near the town of Hurricane in southwestern Utah. This paper covers some of the history of the site, and describes some of the tests done there since July 1955; it would be impossible to describe in detail all the events in these limited pages.
