Abstract

In countries like India, child protection, rights, and exploitation happen due to poor socio-economic conditions with the large population base. Child maltreatment is a severe social problem in most of the countries. A major challenging issue in the field of child development is, protecting the children for long-term from various threats that prevail in society. In this regard, present Paper focuses on the existing literature base and critically examines the issue of Child and role of ICPS in protecting the children with such type of abuses.
